I’m writing a book (my first one, actually) and I’ve already started writing on paper, like my rough draft. But when I’m done with that, I’ll want to type it, to send to companies for publication. We have two computers in our house, one that everyone uses, and the other doesn’t have internet, just Microsoft Word. I’d like to use it, but it’s so uncomfortable to sit in that hard chair typing for hours and hours. I want a cheap laptop made just for writing.

Best way to handle this is go into or call up a couple of your local computer stores and ask some of the nerd tech guys for their opinion on a couple of laptops. Once you have a couple specific names don’t pay retail for it, I recommend you use this free web app, Basically it does a search threw all the top online stores for you and brings up the cheapest price, watch the 1min video when you open it up to know what I’m talking about and how to search with it. Hi, I was just wondering, what do the laptops in police vehicles do?

And this may be off topic but how do police know their way around town? Does the laptop have a GPS in it or are police officers allowed to get their own GPS and place it in the vehicle?

They post messages on Facebook, read their email, and play Grand Theft Auto.
Besides that they can check if a vehicle is stolen, taxed or insured. Also check your criminal record.
I suspect the laptop would not have GPS since that would be installed on the dash.

i wanted to know where you can get a cheap laptop with a webcam. i really want one that is like less than $150 dollars, maybe a little more but around $150.

I need to find a cheap laptop(under 1,000 at very least)..that can handle games such as Viva Pinata,Sims3 and other games of that calibur. Also I want to be able to use the latest microsoft word and powerpoint products for college. What do you reccomend?

My Compaq Presario CQ61 was $500 last year. I can play Sims 3 with loads of RAM and actual storage space left. It also has the new Microsoft Office.
I love it, and I take care of it like it’s my baby. Haha.

I have 2 laptops both with itunes on using the same account. The laptop I use to purchase music from has suddenly become unable to burn music to disc, so I cannot back up my recently purchased albums. Is there a way I can transfer these albums onto the other laptop without have to repurchase them?

You can use the Home Sharing feature but the easiest way is to e-mail or IM the FILES then import them to iTunes.

I’m probally getting a vaio e series laptop is it any good? If you hav 1 pls tell me the ups and downs of it and if anyone knows a better laptop than this for €600 tnks

stick with HP. They’re cheap and durable. Sonys are very fragile.
