I would like to upgrade my pc. I would sell the 230 volt power supply, hard drive 149 gb hitachi. how much will i get? If i want to buy 500 colt power supply,500 gb hard drive, 2 gb ddr2 400 mhz ram how much would i need?

The power supply isn’t worth anything. You might get $10 for the drive.

Your new power sup can be $75 – $250; hard drive around $80; memory $40-$50

I wonder how and where can you buy parts to build a pc/server for the low?

thanks guys,
Ian from Malta
Newegg yes I know of them they’re amazing. but I believe they don’t ship internationally..am I right?

http://www.tigerdirect.com
has international shipping.
Click on "help" under "customer service" at bottom of page.
That will bring up some windows including one called "International Customers"
They have decent prices too.

Where do small PC building shops get their parts at. How do you buy whole intel and AMD cpus.?

Im thinking of getting a small side business of selling PCs but I dont know where the competition gets their parts at.

go to newegg.com you get discounts if you buy in bulk, and you can buy oem so you just get the cpu’s in individual antistatic bags and your not paying for shiny boxes.

Should i purchase my PC parts seperately or all in one purchase?

I’m building a custom gaming PC from scratch, and I’m buying almost all my parts (11) off of newegg .com. I don’t have all the money right now, but I will for sure have it all by Mid-March. Should i buy parts seperately in accordance with the sales they occassionaly have, or alltogether when i have all the money.
I have all the parts picked out, so theres no chance of me changing my mind.

Personally, I’d buy it all at once. Newegg.com doesn’t always keep the same stock all the time. So you may find that over time, they won’t have parts you were looking at. I suggest you wait until you have the money and then finalize all the parts you’re going to buy.

Where is a good place to get custom gaming pc parts cheap, including cases electronics fans and lights? Thanks

Hi, I am making a custom gaming computer and was wondering where was the best place to get parts that are cheap but good. I also would like a cool looking case with at leat one window so you can see lighted fans, cold cathodes etc. Thanks J Hobden
I live in Hastings UK although i was hoping to buy online as its usually cheaper.

newegg.com or frys electronics (if there is one near you)
