cheap laptop?

where can i get a reasonably cheap laptop, (but not a shitty one) ?
but i cant buy it online, i need to actually get it at a store?

I got mine last year from this company:

and it is awesome, I think i figured out new it would have been around $1400.00 – so getting it after 2 years for around $300 was a great deal!
I see they have a great deal on a dell right now that is still under Dell warranty.

Toshiba/Compaq is a usually a good affordable brand but it will depend on the model. But if you look in the classifieds or something you may be able to get a good deal. If you can, try to get some one in the Field who knows what they are doing to look over it before you buy it. Good Luck!

might be able to get used ones at a local computer store or big companies like office max might sell used ones
