hey, I’m looking for a cheap laptop that isn’t used. I don’t know much about laptops, but i want one that I can get wireless internet with and can do the basic stuff. I need it for school and student purposes. I like apple computers, but it doesn’t have to be. I think the most I would want to pay is about $1000. But some advice would be great! thanks.

   If you want < 1000 SGD (Singapore Right?) go for Net-books
   Acer Aspire One or ASUS EEEPC or DELL Inspiron 9
   Otherwise the only laptops available at <1000SGD are Acer laptops Aspire 2920 or Extensa both are the value laptops from Acer
   If you want more portability 12.1 inch monitor Laptops
   Cheapest would be Dell Vostro 1200
   Otherwise you have to consider 13.1 inch monitor laptops
