the cheapest place to buy a labtop is actually the store walmart. but its not a good place to buy a labtop there. best buy has laptops. i think for 400 dollars.

Well. . .to find a good and cheap laptop. . .you’ll have to look at refurbished or discontinued laptops. . .or in used computer/laptop stores. . .

There are a couple of computer recycling companies in Hillsboro and Forest Grove, Oregon near the Intel Manufacturing Plants that recycle old machines, they sell complete used machines and used parts. Try finding them online before you drive down here from Seattle. They used to give you a very general, nothing specific, idea of what they have on the shelves. It may be there is a computer recycling company near some of the large computer using companies near you, the Redmond and Bellevue areas come to mind. Good luck.
