The largest problem is militant atheists and other groups who try to promote perversions in society like a sociological cancer, doing nothing but distorting the fabrics of morality and ultimately trying to destroy it in the process. Evolution has still yet to be proven, and it is ignorant to take a theory as fact. It's called peer review. Americans who do not accept evolution as fact see that it does in fact leave a lot of questions unanswered, and that what is usually popular in the scientific community will ultimately be debunked over the course of time as it has happened so many times before. The estimation of the earth's age is based on the idea that radioactive dating is correct, when in reality is has a major flaw. That flaw is that scientists assume that they know the quantity of each radioactive element based on what we know of our current planets conditions. The problem with this is that they also claim that the amount of each element and the conditions of the planet greatly differed from what the current conditions are. They can extrapolate how much of any given element there was at some time in the past based on current conditions, but fail to account for any radioactive materials either produced through chemical changes or brought to the earth via other smaller celestial bodies. As for the measuring, you have me beat on that. On the point of public transportation, Americans are on average more focused on individualism, such as personal vehicles, based on our own society's standards, which differ from those in Europe or other parts of the world. To some it all up, America as a whole does have it's flaws, such as using an outdated measuring system, but does retain points of individualism and in some ways fight flawed ways of thinking, such as blindly following whatever some published textbook said. There are textbooks that claim that the Holocaust never happened, but we don't swallow them whole. In order to advance the human race along, you must allow for free thought and peer review, but also have morals to keep the society from imploding on itself. In my honest opinion, and as much as I do not like many of the choices the American people have made, I honestly believe that the resistance towards any type of change has been vital to our survival, for many people, no matter what nationality, cannot begin to imagine the repercussions of their actions, the slow pace of change allows the American people to analyze what the path has in wait for them long before they blindly jump into it. With science and religion in conjunction with one another, all the questions of who, what, when, where, why, and how will be answered in full. As a Christian and a free thinking man in pursuit of knowledge AND wisdom, I encourage you to analyze your own nation, along your own beliefs and prejudices, before becoming worried with another person's problems. Remove first the plank from your own eye before removing the speck from your brother's eye. In other words, don't judge hypocritically.

God bless you.
References :
Which version of evolution? The age of earth only means something to those who are scared....I took a minute to stop laughing at the metric system remark. Same thing for public transportation. The problem diminutive one is the religion you adhere to and your fellow atheist fools...Thanks for asking. Romans 1:28 God Bless
References :
Jesus saves

Comment on What is the problem associated with using an array to implement a queue? by Seanie

Queues are expandable and dynamically allocate their storage. They get bigger and smaller with the data that is stored in them. An array can't expand or shrink without being redefined and all data copied over into the new array.

A stack has a fixed size declared first, that size becomes its capacity. Data can be added and removed from it but the overall size of the stack stays the same, even if only one element is inside it, the stack takes up the same space as it would is it contained all elements it can fit.

A stack can use an Array for implementation because an array acts in the same way, it allocates enough space for all elements and stays the same size regardless of how much goes in and out.

To use an analogy:

A Queue is like a water balloon, it starts small and you increase its size the more water you put into it. You can take the water out again and it will shrink again.

A Stack and an Array are like a bucket. The bucket has one fixed size, the bucket will stay the same size no matter how much water you fill it with, but you can only fill it with so much. If you need a bigger array, you need to get a bigger bucket and pour all the water from the smaller bucket into the new bigger bucket.
References :
Eiffel was a specialist for "light construction architecture" (I don't know the English word). The light constructions carry heavy weightss (an air column with equal surface as the Eiffel tower's ground plate and equal height weights more than the Eiffel Tower himself. Neglectinng that the tower is a cone and taking the ground surface of 130 x 130 m and a height of 300m gives a volume 5.070.000 cubique meters x 1000 = liters of air, taken the specific weight of air: 1.28g/L gives of 6591 metric tons for the air column, the Eiffel Tower having 4810 metric tons). Those light constructions are found among others in the Duro Bridge in Porto (Eiffel constructed it), the tail of the early "Bell" Helicopters (copies), rowing boats (those for competition) and the inner side of the statue of Liberty (Eiffel's construction).
Historically the roots of light construction are timber framed houses.
References :
http://www.flickr.com/photos/av8pix/3216407847/
