Has anyone seen any great deals on laptops for black friday or other sales for the 2008 Christmas season?

I am thinking after Christmas could be even better because I haven’t seen too many "Great" deals. Walmart had a $300 decent laptop before Black Friday but it’s gone already. I saw a Dell with Intel core 2 duo for $550 but now I can’t find it again. I should have saved the site I was on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
There are tons of super deals on laptops. I’ve seen them at many places, like newegg, buy.com, and compusa.com/tigerdirect
Most of the ones I come across I find at deal sites like http://www.CouponsCatalog.com
Supposedly the word out there is that the best deals might come at the end of December as Christmas is closer – because retailers will not be seeing the sales that they want ahead of time – so they will come out with some super deals right before the holiday to get some more cash in the bank. Also, Cyber Monday is just around the corner as well…

Office Depot has some good prices, but we are going to wait until after Xmas to buy anything. Hopefully we can save some money.

well i dont exactly what type of laptop your looking for but ive seen some really good deals on newegg lately! there was a nice sony vaio up there yesterday for 550 but i dont see it now, but theres an HP for 500! intel dual core processor, 250 gb hard drive, 3 gigs of ram.. free shipping too, looks pretty solid! but if thats not what you’re looking for keep checking back. and you can deffinetly feel comfortable buying from newegg.com!

If there is a good deal on laptop, you can typically find it on top online deals forums and sites like redflagdeals, smartcanucks and edealinfo.
Siftin.com deals search might be able to help you if you have a particular brand in mind as they look at all top sites in just one click.

the best thing to find out which store has the best deal..is to check the 2008BlackFriday Buying Guide. it will tell you which is the best deal for your items..for all avaliable stores
