What brand of laptop computers is customizable and gives the best deals?
October 222009
I want a laptop with a good processor, RAM, harddrive, firewire… all the good stuff, and I want it for a great deal. There are SO many brands, so which one should I go with to get the most bang for my buck? And possibly what specific model should i go with? I have like 600 bucks and I get get more from my parents, and i’m into editing movies, graphic design, and internet crap…
ive always found that dells are the most customizable and offer the most options, they can tend to be a more than some brands but they certainly arent the most expensive. dells are also very tough and reliable. if your looking for a bargain though heres a link to where i would look for great deals and great selection.

that page has all the laptops organized so that the best rated are at the top, you can change the organization with the little tab at the top if you dont like that though.

I think HP comes with the most options for customizing. I have an HP and i LOVE it. I went with them over most others just because of the options you can get. i have a 5 in 1 card readers and Lightscribe on my 80GB laptop. I also def. got my bang for a buck…my laptop was 860 some-odd dollars and it was decked to the nines (I’ve had it for a year now). Also, when you go to customize and such, keep your eyes open for free upgrades- those can make a great laptop with a good price. My roommate got a great laptop from HP all customized to what she wanted for 650 dollars.
Have fun with your search!
