that came with the wireless box I just bought and it won’t connect. Both of the desktop computers in the office work fine, but I would like my laptop to be able to work wireless while at work also. Please try and explain to me how I can get this working?

Not enough info…
Are you even able to view wireless networks?
When you installed the disc for the wireless router, were you in port #1?
The disc that came with it is NO GOOD! do a manual setup. Put the default gateway ip address into a browser on one of the desktops. Login to your router, and setup the wireless security that way. If you run into any problems, press the reset button on the back of the router (you will need a paper clip).

Unless your office has a wireless router, or their IT allows you to connect one, it will not connect.

I am a geek squad agent. I am paid $35 per hour to setup networks.
