( y we need to comprimise out processing speed just for nothing ???? a high Core 2 Duo high speed processor and 4GB RAM laptop is much worthy than this.. i use a TOSHIBA Satellite l505 – S5971 .. i feels like much powerfull n less expensive almost half or lesser than this laptop with more feature.. mm nyways this is SLIMMY

for you guys who …
for you guys who are bashing this laptop, you don’t know anything about computers.
1. There’s more to a processor than cores and frequencies – cache, FSB, and architecture, all make large differences in speed
2. it has ddr3 memory which is significantly faster than ddr2
3. SOLID STATE
4. lightweight = no backache when taking it everywhere
5. less power consumtion = never need to rush to charge the battery
6. lastly, compacting that into a laptop that thin is no laughing matter

The features on this thing are incredible. Includes SSD, quality memory up to 4 Gigs, HD ready graphics, vibrant display, excellent battery longevity, and robust yet low-voltage Intel ULV dual core Centrino chips as the CPU. Combined with its exceptionally slim and light form factor, these features make it an above average notebook.
Sure, it’s not a gaming laptop and it does not have a blu-ray or DVD drive but it isn’t meant to be a desktop.

Clock rate does not account for other factors that you are clearly ignoring or just don’t know about. It is a dual core 64 bit chip from the Centrino platform with a 3Mb L2 cache and a stratospherically high Front Side, which despite its low clock rate, is nothing to sneeze at. But also take into account this only consumes 10 watts of power, making for long battery life. You will get a lot of performance out of these chips.
