I haven’t done …
I haven’t done serious modding in some time because the manufacturers are including features that were once unheard of. Painting the inside of the case black, including side panel windows, lighted fans, these were all mods a few years ago. Most high end cases now have included or optional clear side panels. My latest case is the Fortress 2 (FT02) from SilverStone. No side fans needed for this one. If the case cools good, you shouln’t need one.

Those parts were …
Those parts were purchased a few years back. I believe they cost about $1000 USD at the time. Of course I wouldn’t recommend the same parts now. Due to the ever changing computer parts industry, it’s very hard to recommend specific parts at any given? time. Those parts are quickly replaced by bigger and better on an almost daily basis.
