What psychological problem can cause a person to constantly lose identity based on movies or television?

We have all experienced the euphoric feeling of coming out of a theater imagining the situation seen to be real and we are part of it. Normally this feeling vanishes in minutes as reality impinges on the consciousness. What kind of psychological problem can prevent a person from recovering reality? For example, coming out of Star Wars imagining one is a Jedi or out of Pirates of the Caribbean imagining one’s self to be a pirate?

These psychological boundaries and differentiations, are often developed during childhood,
distinguishing between reality and fantasy………
If as an adult one hasnt developed them, it is a sign of several different, difficult ‘mental illness’…… the best know is true schizophrenia, or other disorders………one would have to have it evaluated to know which , what applies……..
