I have this and tried to upgrade my memory from 1gb to 2gb and holy shit….I opened up the case to make the usual easy plug in of the memory only to find out that I have to take out the DVD drive, the bracket, and take the fan off just to get to the slot to add it. Not to mention unplug the the connections. Not worth the risk of a novice to try

Bang Around Machine? File Server? Media Server? Who would use this computer as one of those? I’m buying this computer next month, and it’s going to replace m,y exisiting computer which ios probably the slowest computer in thw rodl. Now, lots of people says that this computer would not be the best for a primary computer, but the HP Pavilon I wanted to get was cheaper, but doesn’t support my Modem. Now if anyone else has anyother cheap computers, please relpy. Thanks.
