Good game, good game.. a little short by modern survival horror standards, but ya can’t hold that against it.
My only MAJOR gripe, wasn’t about the game itself, but the PC port of it.. it seriously was the worst port AND buggiest piece of game i’ve ever had the misfortune to play. I really do hope they got a different team to do SH3 and 4.
Graphically, bar the shadows, it still looks nice even today, and sound wise, the only complaint here was the normalisation (which may even be due to the PC port).
Overall, i’d give it a solid A-.. great game, nice and atmospheric, and a decent enough story (though I think the story is what gave it an A- as opposed to a straight up A).
Don’t touch the PC version with a barge pole.

Happy birthday, Claire!.. That’s actually a bit late (her birthday was the 10th, and this was recorded the day before) 
This is the next 5 levels of Bobble, and there’s a couple of tricky bastards in there.
Oh, and I also revisit some of the earlier levels that’ve had a few tweaks and graphic updates too.
I rendered this in HD to test whether it was feasible to do playthroughs in HD on my current pc.. well, it took 12 hours to render, just short of 90 minutes, which imo, just ain’t doable atm unfortunately. Montages, howtos, and small one off sets like this i’ll break out the HD for sure, but normal playthroughs I won’t till next year when i’ve aquired the appropriate hardware.
The difference is epic and without a doubt the way to go, but a combination of low end hardware and high rendering times make it a grim prospect for the usual length of my sets.
