Second and last set, recorded the following day albeit a bit earlier than the first HTSFL.

A couple of bosses, and a couple of tricky areas make up the bulk of this one as you’d expect for near the end of the game.

Great game overall, just needs some more time investing on some of the later areas (last boss especially), and another route would be gold as well.

More than worthy to sit alongside IWBTG, even more so once it gets further outta beta.

Old school single player FPS that pays tribute to the early days of player weapons shitloads of enemies = fun.

I thought i’d be all clever and put it on ‘Hard’ difficulty too.. everything starts out ok, but it sure as doesn’t last for long.. and the areas in the first set are EASY compared to sets 2 and 3 (which are recorded/rendered, so the games finished already).

A great and satisfying game, but I get some serious (not a pun) gripes about the difficulty scaling later on (monsters on hard are smarter, faster, hurt more, take more damage to kill AND more of them spawn each wave.. sake lol).

Happy Halloween!

I figured the best game to start, given the time of year and people asking for it for so long, would be a Silent Hill.

The PC port of SH2 (Director’s fuck, I mean cut), is a little on the shabby side however.. random frame rate drops, cut scene freezes/desyncs and sound looping plague it. I did patch (twice) though, which has removed some of those symptoms, but rampant cut scene desync remains unfortunately.

Either way, this should be fun, as although I have played SH2 before, i’d only played it upto the the bit where Maria joins ya (very early I know), which coincidentally, was where my hatred of escorting people in games was born

[Notes] Adventure game? Horror themed? Free? Sold. There’s a slight problem in part 8 with some corrupted footage, but you don’t miss anything. There’s also multiple endings, of which I get 2-3 (which seem the easiest endings), but there’s plenty of videos on YT with the endings, so give em a look.
