Old school single player FPS that pays tribute to the early days of player weapons shitloads of enemies = fun.
I thought i’d be all clever and put it on ‘Hard’ difficulty too.. everything starts out ok, but it sure as doesn’t last for long.. and the areas in the first set are EASY compared to sets 2 and 3 (which are recorded/rendered, so the games finished already).
A great and satisfying game, but I get some serious (not a pun) gripes about the difficulty scaling later on (monsters on hard are smarter, faster, hurt more, take more damage to kill AND more of them spawn each wave.. sake lol).

croteam are going to re-release serious sam with massively upgraded graphics / the new serious engine 3… levels will be the same but they look a lot better. i’d love to see this htsf redone… but well, it won’t be redone i guess… won’t buy the new release either – played the first edition too much already
